LeanFit is a targeted program that incorporates many elements of fitness.  It’s a great introduction to CrossFit type training, but LeanFit is very different and has a significant focus on lighter weights, longer workouts, and abdominal work.  Plus, it’s FUN!

LeanFit workouts are designed to take the best pieces of fitness from all sources and combine them in fun and creative ways.  These workouts will be intense and HIGHLY metabolic.

So, what does a LeanFit class look like?

The core of LeanFit is functional, compound movements that utilize your entire body.  You’ll be doing squats, lunges, push-ups, and other body-weight movements.  We sprinkle in some light weight-lifting that will provide a tremendous training response (NO ladies, this will NOT make you bulky).  The light weight lifting can help you develop a lean, defined physique and get the metabolism really pumping.  In addition, we add cardio elements such as jogging, rowing, biking, and jump rope and throw a lot of abdominal work in for good measure, because heck everyone wants to work their abs, right?

Is this program CrossFit?

NO.

We borrow exercises and ideas from CrossFit, and it can definitely prepare you for CrossFit classes, but LeanFit goes beyond CrossFit and includes aspects of fitness from many other areas.  We include elements from endurance training, plyometric work, abdominal workouts, bands, TRX workouts, and MORE.  We want your workouts to be fun, constantly changing, and challenging so that you can get the best results possible.

What else should I know about LeanFit?

For best results you want to make sure to attend AT LEAST three LeanFit classes per week (you’re welcome to come to 5 classes, but the program calls for three).  Check our schedule for a variety of class days and times!

Attend these classes, in addition to your current program, and you will see big time changes in your health and fitness.

What if I haven’t been exercising?

This is the perfect program for beginners.  And you will soon realize that you will make amazing strides in your fitness in just 4 short weeks.  You won’t believe what you are capable of with a supportive coach and a group of like-minded individuals who care about your health and fitness as much as you do.

But I have an injury!

First consult with your doctor or chiropractor, but we pride ourselves on our training knowledge and the ability to alter workouts to get you great results, no matter what.   Every exercise is scalable and we offer modifications based on your specific needs.
