CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity.  It’s a strength, conditioning, and nutrition program that is unparalleled in its ability to gain strength, endurance, burn fat, and transform bodies.

In your workouts you will be using functional core strength and conditioning movements including: weight lifting, running, Olympic lifting, rowing, kettlebells, gymnastic movements, medicine ball conditioning and plyometrics.  The workouts are expertly programmed to give YOU fitness, strength, and body composition changes you never thought possible!

Choose from convenient class times of 5:20 am & 6:20 am or 4:40 pm & 5:40 pm on weekdays and 7:00 am, 8:00 am, and 9:00 am classes on Saturdays.

We now have 9:15 am classes! Now you don’t have to wake up super early to get your CrossFit in. Sleep in a bit, drop your kids off at school and get in here! 9:15 am classes are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

And now CrossFit is available to residents of Shawnee, Lenexa, and Olathe!  We are conveniently located right off 83rd and K-7 and are an easy drive from all of West Johnson County.

This isn’t a health club exercise class with a workout “leader” (I promise NEVER to wear spandex).  Solution 1 CrossFit is a group personal training session led by a CrossFit certified trainer.  Your trainer is always coaching and will be monitoring your form and technique and giving guidance on weights and modifications to exercises to ensure the most beneficial and efficient workout possible.  You will get personal motivation and attention each and every session.

CrossFit Methods 

What’s a WOD? Who the heck is Fran? Should I say excuse me after doing a Burpee? Chances are good that if you’ve heard people talk about CrossFit and looked into it a little bit, these are probably thoughts that have flashed through your mind . We realize that the daily workouts we post on Solution 1 can be strange and kind of intimidating.

That’s why we created CrossFit Methods.

When you join Solution 1, we want to make sure you are ready and capable to perform the workouts with us. CrossFit Methods will lay the foundation to the greatest health and fitness program in the world.

After completion of CrossFit Methods, you will then be able to attend our full CrossFit classes. You’ll receive expert guidance and instruction from CrossFit certified trainers and encouragement and accountability from your classmates. Solution 1 CrossFit is not only a health and fitness program, but also a COMMUNITY.

As a Solution 1 CrossFit client, you will have a whole class that wants you to succeed just as much as you do.  In fact, your classmates will be motivating and cheering you on during your workouts, so don’t think for a second that you’re in this alone.  You will bond with others through sweat while doing pushups, squats, and pull-ups (yes, YOU are capable of doing pull-ups, so if you just thought to yourself “I can’t possibly ever do a pull-up” then you just lied to yourself because we’ll show you how).

In 6 progressive small group training sessions you’ll learn the movements, proper form, and technique of foundational CrossFit exercises. You’ll also learn the science behind what makes CrossFit so successful and how to properly and easily use food to fuel your body for weight loss, optimum performance, and lifelong health. Whether you are looking to lose body fat or simply enhance your energy and well-being, our Nutrition Solution is for you.

During your Methods classes you’ll learn the proper form and technique for the essential CrossFit exercises. Then you’ll take those movements and build on them through greater intensity (i.e. more weight or more reps). Each class will also finish with a “MetCon” (short for Metabolic Conditioning). This workout will increase in intensity as your fitness increases… at your own pace.

The difficulty and intensity of these workouts is ultimately up to YOU; you choose how much or how little you rest. Each workout is individual to your level and abilities and your progress is cyclical. As your fitness increases, you will be able to increase your intensity. Then, as you increase your intensity you will further increase your fitness. The beauty of CrossFit is its remarkable simplicity.

The CrossFit Methods classes are sequential with each day progressively becoming more technical, so you build off of each class to the next. This means it is very important for you to attend each one and why it is mandatory that you complete the CrossFit Methods before entering any of our group classes. (Any missed classes can be rescheduled with one of our Solution 1 Coaches.)

After graduation from CrossFit Methods, you will be ready both physically and mentally and will have the confidence to attend any of our regular classes. We look forward to getting you started and on your way to embracing the best fitness program you’ll ever see.  In 3 to 6 months you will be doing things you never thought possible, and I am extremely excited for you.
